HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - s4story -- Author Tasha Madison, has won the 2020 Author Elite Award in the category of Young Adult Fiction for her book, Fabric of a Generation. Madison received the award at the Author Elite Awards ceremony held at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, in Columbus, Ohio.

"The Author Elite Awards is an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry," said Kary Oberbrunner, founder of Author Academy Elite and the Author Elite Awards. "Our goal is to help further connect this global community of authors, maintain excellence and integrity of the book publishing industry, and raise awareness that the stories being told and the authors who write them are worth our attention."

Beginning in January of this year, over 1,000 authors worldwide were nominated for their work in one of the following 16 categories: General Nonfiction, Advice, Self-Help, Business, Memoir, Health, Clean Romance, Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller, Science Fiction, YA and Middle Grade, Children's, Historical Fiction, General Fiction, and Religion.

Authors of all kinds—indie (self-published), traditional, or collaborative published—were considered for an award. Entries were reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by a panel of select judges.

Madison's day began with her being invited, along with the other top ten finalists in the Young Adult category, to present her book synopsis at the Author Elite Awards Red Carpet Sessions, which was then followed by an Author Elite Awards VIP Dinner, a Red Carpet Meet and Greet, and the Author Elite Awards Ceremony. Madison was invited to give an acceptance speech at the award ceremony.
