FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- California Closets of Southwest Florida received five awards at the Lee Building Industry Association's 2025 Industry Awards, honoring its design expertise throughout Southwest Florida.
California Closets was honored in the following categories:

The Pinnacle and Summit Awards are Lee BIA's highest annual awards, showcasing local building and design excellence across Southwest Florida. California Closets' entries highlight the brand's emphasis on experimental design, technical precision and custom craftmanship across residential and commercial environments. The honored projects underscore the versatility of the company's organizational systems in any space.
California Closets was honored in the following categories:
- Pinnacle Award in Best Showroom (up to 2,500 square feet) for California Closets' Fort Myers showroom, honoring its immersive design studio. The showroom features 11 lifestyle vignettes and a materials library that enhances client experience and helps bring organizational solutions to life.
- Pinnacle Award in Best Interior Design (Commercial – Best Specialty Contracting) for the design of a practical yet stylish custom kitchen pantry system for a private residence in Estero that enhanced the kitchen's efficiency while blending into the home's existing aesthetic.
- Pinnacle Award in Best Closet Design ($200,000 - $299,999) for California Closets' intelligent, high-end closet for a private residence in Fort Myers. The custom design features functionality with a wardrobe lift, disguised shoe shelf and a concealed room designed for the client's safes.
- Pinnacle Award in Best Interior Design (Specialty – Built-In Storage Solutions) for California Closets' thoughtful design in a residential fireplace and media unit at a private residence in Naples. Designed to create a functional space that would accommodate seasonal decor, the mix of open and closed cabinetry was a vital part of the design.
- Summit Award in Best Specialty Contracting (under $999,999) for California Closets' work on a mattress retail showroom for Harbor Springs Mattress in Naples. Designed as a flagship model for future locations, the design featured custom luxe cabinetry, bedroom vignettes, office space and finishes to reflect the client's commitment to natural, chemical-free materials.
