Letter To Teenage Girls and Young Ladies About Lessons Learned Through Education, Athletics, and Life

On March 12, 2019, Dear Her was released on Amazon. Today more than ever, females need to encourage and empower one another. They need to know it is not about competition, it is about collaboration to grow. They need to hear the wisdom of those that came before them to know they can make it through any struggle; knowing they are not alone.

This book is a collection of experiences and wisdom to help girls with navigating all of it: school, athletics, and life. Over 45 women share letters on what they would tell their younger selves or another young girl about the journey. This book will remind you of your power and that you are never alone. It is also for parents, coaches, teachers, mentors, and anyone else who has a female in their life.

The main authors of the book were student-athletes themselves and have coached athletes for over 20 years. The authors are Leslie Trujillo, Kimberly Jones, and Deanna Cordova. The foreword is by Nicole Ari Parker.
