Thomas Family Ranch Donates Thousands Of Pounds Of Meat To Colorado First Movement
S For Story/10676541
NORTHGLENN, Colo. - s4story -- In a powerful display of family, faith, and commitment to community, Thomas Family Ranch, owned by Dr. Gregory A. Thomas, made a major donation of fresh beef, chicken, and pork to support the Colorado First Movement's Mobile Food Bank Initiative.
Early this morning, fully loaded Thomas Family Ranch semi-trailers rolled into Northglenn, Colorado, from Heath, Texas bringing with them not just food—but a message of unity, compassion, and self-reliance. This donation marks another milestone in Colorado First's grassroots effort to fight hunger and invest directly in Colorado families, from the Front Range to the Western Slope.
"This isn't charity—it's family taking care of family," said Dr. Thomas, founder of the Colorado First Movement. "When I say Colorado is my family, I mean it. And just like any father provides for his household, my commitment is to make sure every Coloradan has what they need to thrive. This state is home. These are our people."
Each pound of meat donated from Thomas Family Ranch represents the heart of the movement's philosophy: feed the people first, empower them next. The Colorado First trucks—now easily recognizable with their red, white, and yellow color scheme—will continue their route through Denver, Aurora, and Pueblo in the coming weeks, serving as mobile hubs for community food distribution.

Corrina Thomas, co-owner of Thomas Family Ranch and wife of Dr. Thomas, added,
"This is what it means to live your values. We raise these animals with love, we run our ranches with integrity, and we give because that's what families do. Colorado isn't just where Greg lives—it's who he lives for."
The Colorado First Movement, launched earlier this year, has rapidly grown into one of the state's most recognized community initiatives. With a mission rooted in economic empowerment, transformative justice, and food security, the movement has already mobilized thousands of volunteers, local farmers, and small businesses under the banner of "Colorado First—Always."
The event drew residents, volunteers, and local leaders who gathered at the Northglenn distribution site to help unload and sort food. Maria Lopez, director of the Northglenn Community Resource Coalition, praised the initiative:
"When those trucks pulled in, you could feel the energy shift. People knew this was real help from real people who care. Dr. Thomas and his family didn't just send food—they showed up for this community."
Today's donation underscores the movement's belief that strong families build strong communities, and that the best way to strengthen Colorado's economy begins by strengthening its people.
