FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- New officers and new board members were elected at the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades annual meeting held on May 30. Officers and Executive Committee members for 2025-2026 include the following:
  • Board Chairs: Kevin Karnes (Lee County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller) and Jay Santos (Key Private Bank)
  • Vice Chairs: Dr. Scott Nygaard and Dan O'Berski (Trinity Commercial Group)
  • Treasurer: Cindy Hawkins (Wiltshire Whitley Richardson & English P.A.)
  • Assistant Treasurer: Victoria Rodriguez (Markham Norton Mosteller Wright and Company, P.A.)
  • Secretary: Mary Snell (Pavese Law Firm)
  • Immediate Past Chair: Matt Humphreys (Publix)
New members joining the United Way Board of Directors include the following:
  • Amy Rohde (Regions Private Wealth Management)
  • Brendan Shearman (Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A.)
  • Dr. Denise Carlin, Ph.D. (The School District of Lee County)
  • Glen Salyer (Lee County Board of County Commissioners)
  • Maria Espinoza (F.I.S.H. of Sanibel Captiva, Inc.)
  • Michael Stryker (UBS Financial Services)
United Way is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people in our community.
