2026 SDHF CME Symposium - Best Practices for Screening, Diagnosing and Treating Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM)
S For Story/10694773
This CME Symposium takes place on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 3:55 PM - 4:55 PM PT during the 2026 San Diego Heart Failure Summer Symposium in San Diego, California.
HAZLET, N.J. - s4story -- In this symposium, cardiac amyloidosis experts (Dr. Ahmad Masri, Dr. Ronald Witteles and Dr. Marcus Urey) will identify red flags that should raise suspicion for ATTR-CM and explain a practical algorithm to make an accurate and early diagnosis. Best use of guideline-recommended medical therapy (GDMT) for HF in ATTR-CM will be described, and clinical evidence with disease-modifying ATTR-CM therapies interpreted. A case-based discussion on optimal management of ATTR-CM will address issues related to recognition, diagnosis, and treatment.
