Voting open through June 30 for Fort Myers Southwest store campaign

FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- A.N.A.'s Friends has been selected to participate in the Target Circle Community Giving Program, giving Southwest Florida residents the opportunity to help direct Target's charitable giving to support vulnerable children in the region.

Through June 30, Target Circle members can vote for A.N.A.'s Friends through the Target app or at Target.com/Circle/Community-Voting (https://www.target.com/circle/community-voting). Because nonprofit options vary by store community, voters must select the Fort Myers Southwest location at 15880 San Carlos Blvd. to find A.N.A.'s Friends in the list of participating nonprofits.

Community members can join Target Circle for free at Target.com/circle (https://www.target.com/l/target-circle/-/N-pzno9), through the Target app or by providing their phone number at checkout. After earning votes through eligible purchases, participants can support A.N.A.'s Friends by:
  • Selecting "My Target" in the Target app or "Account" on Target.com (https://www.target.com/)
  • Tapping "Vote for nonprofits"
  • Choosing the Fort Myers Southwest store community
  • Finding A.N.A.'s Friends and casting their votes
Target Circle allows members to earn votes through everyday shopping and use them to help direct where charitable funds are distributed within their local community. At the end of the campaign, grants are awarded to participating nonprofits based on the percentage of votes they receive.

A.N.A.'s Friends was selected for its work supporting children in Southwest Florida who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. The nonprofit helps meet basic needs, create meaningful childhood experiences and support youth through critical developmental stages, serving thousands of children in the region each year.

"This program gives our entire community a voice in how support is shared, and that matters deeply for the children we serve," said Jessica Stanfield, CEO of A.N.A.'s Friends. "When someone takes a moment to cast a vote, they are helping create stability, dignity and opportunity for a child who may be facing some of the most difficult circumstances of their life. It's a simple action, but it has the power to shape a child's future in a lasting way."

Through the Target Circle program, guests help direct millions of dollars in charitable giving each year. As of July 2023, more than $26.9 million has been donated to over 5,500 nonprofits nationwide through guest participation.
