Author Lee Jones Celebrates New Book With Free Kindle eBook Giveaway
S For Story/10679452
Murrieta, Calif. Author and podcast host Lee Jones is celebrating his novel Measured in Regrets by offering his nonfiction book From Here to There as a free Kindle download on Amazon from December 20–24, 2025, as a holiday gift.
MURRIETA, Calif. - s4story -- Lee Jones, retired U.S. Army combat veteran, supply chain executive, and host of Hindsight the Podcast, is building momentum for his novel Measured in Regrets with a holiday gift for readers. From December 20–24, 2025, Jones' transformational book From Here to There: A Guide to Get From Here to There will be available as a free Kindle eBook on Amazon.
Measured in Regrets, releasing January 2026, is a reflective, emotionally grounded novel about a seventy-one-year-old retired soldier facing a terminal diagnosis and a lifetime of unfinished conversations. When Elias Ward nearly steps into traffic outside an oncology clinic, a nineteen-year-old stranger pulls him back—and their chance meeting at a Southern California bus stop becomes the beginning of an unlikely friendship. As Elias sets out to confront the people he's hurt and the distances he's created, Jay, the young man who saved him, learns what it means to shape his own future before regret has the final word.

While the novel tells that story through fiction, From Here to There gives readers a practical way to look at their own lives. The book invites people to honestly define where they are right now ("here"), where they want to be ("there"), and what it looks like to close that gap with intention instead of waiting for a crisis.
"Measured in Regrets came from the same questions that created From Here to There," Jones said. "What do we do with the miles behind us? What do we want from the miles ahead? The novel lets you feel it. The nonfiction book helps you sit with it. Making the Kindle edition free for a few days is my way of saying: if this season has you reflecting on your life, I want you to have something that helps you process that without cost being in the way."
During the free promotion window, readers can visit the Amazon Kindle store, search for "From Here to There Lee Jones," and download the eBook at no charge from December 20 through December 24, 2025. The book can be read on any Kindle device or on the free Kindle app for phones, tablets, and computers.
Lee hopes that readers who connect with the themes of From Here to There will also explore Measured in Regrets and continue the journey through story. Both works invite readers to look honestly at regret, reconciliation, and the small, daily choices that shape who they become.
