Award-winning Author Judy Sierra Celebrates Book Launch with Blog Tour
S For Story/10310936
PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 12, 2018 - s4story -- Award-winning author Judy Sierra is celebrating the release of her new picture book, The Great Dictionary Caper, with a blog tour. Blog tours allow authors/illustrators, students, educators and book lovers to connect "virtually" through interviews on websites, podcasts, blog sites and on-line radio shows. The Great Dictionary Caper has already received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publisher's Weekly, and Booklist.
"As a long-time word nerd and dictionary fanatic, I've always dreamed of celebrating vocabulary in a picture book. Finally, I had a promising idea: liberate words from the tyranny of Noah Webster so they can party in Hollyword at LexiCon, and get together with their friends in an onomatopoeia marching band, a Palindrome family reunion, a protest march of words without rhymes, and so forth," said Sierra. "It is my fondest hope that this picture book will spread a love of words to children everywhere."
