ASHEVILLE, N.C. - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is thrilled to announce the release of Michael's Journey from Caterpillar to Butterfly, by Jocelyn M. Lacey.
Jocelyn Mooneyhan Lacey is a native of Johnson City, TN, where she graduated from ETSU with a BA in Mass Communications. She grew up coming over the mountain to western North Carolina, where she is now lucky to call home after 12 years of living up and down the East Coast. She received the Golden Wizard Book Prize for her previous children's books, Pierre the Peacock, Coral's First Sleep Over, What Do Police Officers Do?, and An Angel Named Johnia. Readers can find Lacey on Instagram @hapigirl10 or contact her by email at hapigirl10@hotmail.com.
In Michael's Journey from Caterpillar to Butterfly, Michael, a late bloomer, watches as his friends change into butterflies. When it's finally Michael's turn, he notices his new wings are different. Will he be able to fly, and will his friends accept him the way he is? Beautifully illustrated children's book with a message about embracing your differences in what makes you who you are.
