Meet Up with the EFA at the Gaithersburg Book Festival, Maryland
GAITHERSBURG, Md. - s4story -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting for the first time at the Gaithersburg Book Festival, May 21, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Stop by to introduce yourself and to learn more about the benefits of EFA membership or about hiring the right freelancer for your project through our Member Directory and Job List!
"We are thrilled to be joining the Gaithersburg Book Festival in person this year," says Amy Spungen, EFA Events chairperson. "We look forward to meeting fellow book lovers and talking with them about everything the EFA has to offer."
An all-ages event, the Gaithersburg Book Festival will be held in Bohrer Park, with free admission and free parking. Founded in 2010, the festival attracts authors, poets, and songwriters from across the country. This year's event will feature writing workshops for adults and teens, a poetry contest, and events for children, including a children's village and writing workshops for children.

Founded in 1970, the EFA is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators, and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.
