LOUISVILLE, Ky. - s4story -- Five years ago this month, I faced one of the most difficult chapters of my professional career. False allegations related to fronting insurance contracts led to lawsuits, the voluntary surrender of my insurance license, and the loss of valued personal and professional relationships. Though these cases were ultimately dismissed with prejudice by the courts, the experience was both humbling and transformative.
I have remained silent until now—not out of avoidance, but out of a commitment to reflect, take responsibility, and grow. While I maintain my innocence, I fully acknowledge that mistakes in my leadership contributed to challenges faced by the captive insurance companies associated with Performance Insurance Company. The consequences were real, and I deeply regret the impact they had on clients, partners, and the industry I've long been passionate about.
But this is not a statement about the past—it's about the path forward.
Over the last five years, I've taken the time to listen, learn, and rebuild. That journey has led to the creation of CaptiveSimple—a modern software platform designed to simplify and streamline the captive insurance experience. Our mission is to make captive insurance faster, more transparent, and more accessible for business owners, agents, and brokers worldwide.
