Breast Cancer Awareness Month Golf Tournament to Benefit Local Research and Patient Support
S For Story/10673949
The Karen T. Stall Research + Breast Institute brings the community together at Chateau Golf & Country Club to fund local breast cancer research and support services.
KENNER, La. - s4story -- Supporters, survivors, and community members will gather at Chateau Golf & Country Club for the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the Karen T. Stall Research + Breast Institute (KTSRBI). The event pairs a day of golf with the mission of advancing breast cancer research and providing critical support for patients in the Gulf Coast region.
The tournament, set for Friday, October 24, 2025, will feature two flights, one at 7:30 AM and another at 1:30 PM, with participants enjoying friendly competition, food, drinks, raffles, and contests. Each golfer will also receive a commemorative gift.
"This tournament isn't just about golf, it's about coming together as a community," said Phillip Truxillo, Tournament Chair. "Every swing, every putt helps give someone a better chance at early detection and the care they need. That's what makes the day so meaningful."
