SAN DIEGO - s4story -- Health Services Academy announced that the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) has officially approved the institutional name change from PhlebotomyU to HealthCareerU, marking a significant milestone in the organization's expansion into broader allied healthcare education.
The BPPE approval confirms that HealthCareerU remains in full compliance and good standing with state regulatory requirements. The name change does not impact the institution's approvals, operations, or the validity of previous student certifications.
HealthCareerU, formerly known as PhlebotomyU, continues to operate under the same leadership, training standards, and commitment to student outcomes. The updated name reflects the institution's growth beyond phlebotomy into additional healthcare career training programs.
