S For Story/10676684
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - s4story -- Calder announces the sale of Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing of Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Ole Man RB's Tree Service of Greenville, Michigan.
Founded in 2005, Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing delivers year-round groundskeeping and snow removal services throughout West Michigan. The Founder, Rob Schmidt, engaged Calder's Sell-Side team in order to shift to a management support role, assisting the new owners.
Ole Man RB's Tree Service is a leading provider of tree removal, stump grinding, and lot clearing serving Greenville, Rockford, and surrounding West Michigan communities. Their acquisition of Camp Lawn Care and Snowplowing served as a strategic play, partnering with another respected landscape company with a great track record, complementing what Ole Man RB's tree services does and can do. This partnership equips Ole Man RB's Tree Service to service their clients' outdoor needs in a more complete way.
Jon Pastoor of Calder served as the Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor to Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing. Serving as Analyst was Nick Browning of Calder.

Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing's sale process took 8.3 months from engagement to sale.
"From our first conversation, Jon understood what mattered to me, our customers, and our people," reflected Schmidt. "He and the Calder team were proactive, disciplined, and honest, which made a complex process manageable and ultimately successful."
"Jon and the Calder Capital team kept the deal momentum high by communicating clearly and promptly. Jon's responsiveness helped both sides navigate diligence and closing," commented Holmes.
"This move sets Camp Lawn Care up for long-term success. Also, adding Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing to Chris's platform will allow the team to help clients in more ways and will undoubtedly lead to great future success," stated Pastoor.
"In 2025, we have witnessed a steadily increasing demand for service-based businesses, including those in the landscaping, grounds maintenance, and tree-care space," added Max Friar, Managing Partner of Calder. "Our team has rich experience advising owner-operators in these service segments, yet we are particularly proud to deliver a strong outcome for Camp Lawn Care & Snowplowing and their West Michigan customers and employees."
