ATLANTA - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Blountville, Tennessee, is excited to announce the upcoming release of Maggie the Cat Loves a Valentine from Julia Russo's Maggie the Cat Series!
Julia Russo spent many winters in the mountains along with her little dog, Chloe, and her sweet husband, Kent. She continues to live in Atlanta, but her heart is really in those woods. One of her favorite things ever was hearing her first graders read aloud. She sometimes wrote for the government and companies, and later wrote descriptions of homes. She even spent time as what is called a roustabout!
After her debut book, Maggie the Cat Who Came Home for Christmas, released in 2023, and her follow-up book, Maggie the Cat Loves Pip's Thanksgiving Surprise, released in 2024, Julia is excited to continue the series. She visits her mountainside cabin often. One of these days, she's hoping to get a little goat.

In Eliette's debut children's book, readers meet Estey Grey, a bright, creative girl who is inspired to learn how to play the trombone after hearing jazz musicians in New Orleans. Born with a limb difference, Estey approaches challenges with determination and imaginative thinking. With a little help from her family, she creates a prosthetic that helps her shine alongside the musical stars of the French Quarter.
In the latest adventure with Maggie the Cat, readers venture back to Grandpa Charlie Green's mountainside farmhouse. There will be a special Valentine's Day surprise. But what exactly will the surprise be? And that's not all. Maggie has now gone under the house, and she can't be found! Oh no! Join Wilhelmina Olive Blessing, her cat Maggie, Pip the goat, and his sweet friend, little Barney, on this heartwarming adventure.
Julia Russo's new story is once again full of beautiful illustrations from Grace-Metzger Forrest. You will love this cozy wintertime story. Let's all read it together, because Valentine's Day is not that far away!
