ALICEVILLE, Ala. - s4story -- Community Prayer Walk Scheduled in Aliceville

Local faith leaders and community members will gather Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Aliceville City Hall parking lot for a voluntary community prayer walk focused on unity, peace, and the well-being of the city.

The gathering is being organized by Mayor Terrence Windham, who has invited pastors, congregations, and residents who wish to participate in a time of prayer for the community. Participants will begin with a brief prayer in the City Hall parking lot before walking through portions of the city.

Individuals who prefer not to walk are welcome to remain at the starting location for prayer and worship during the event.

Organizers say the purpose of the gathering is to bring residents together in a spirit of faith, encouragement, and community support.

The event is open to all who wish to participate.
