The Pikes Peak Writers Conference features in-person and hybrid workshops and events, reading opportunities, and one-on-one time with agents and editors. The 2022 conference will be held at the Colorado Springs Doubletree hotel on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. in Colorado Springs.

Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators, and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.
