Creative Community Impact Association Launches to Empower Canada's Creative Leaders

S For Story/10669596
HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - s4story -- The Creative Community Impact Association (CCIA), a newly federally incorporated nonprofit, will officially launch on September 1, 2025. CCIA empowers communities, organizations, and leaders across Canada to harness creativity as a catalyst for connection, collective leadership, and lasting social impact.

Building on a Legacy of Creativity and Inclusion

CCIA evolved from a heart-centered brick-and-mortar studio, Sparkles n' Sawdust, and grew into a vibrant social enterprise, Supernova Events, driven by the belief that creativity can transform lives and communities. Along the way, we developed events, projects, and collaborations that laid the foundation for Creative Community Impact Association and continue to inspire inclusive, thriving creative communities today.

Programs and Services

Programs are free or offered on a sliding scale whenever possible. In addition, CCIA provides paid, mission-aligned services, including:
- Creative team-building workshops
- DEIA workshops
- Public speaking engagements

Every dollar invested in these services directly supports CCIA's mission by: Expanding access for underserved communities, developing free and low-cost programming and building a movement for lasting social change.

Leadership and Governance

CCIA is led by Founder and Executive Director Jacquelyn Miccolis and a volunteer Board of Directors, providing strategic guidance and oversight. Governance is guided by formal bylaws and key policies emphasizing transparency, accountability, diversity, and inclusion. Annual financial statements and program reports will be publicly available.
