MONTREAL - s4story -- ExpLab, a new open-source experimentation platform built for modern data stacks, is now publicly available on GitHub. ExpLab enables team to run statistically rigorous A/B analysis directly on top of their existing database.

The platform integrates directly with existing analytical databases and allows teams to define metrics, analyze experiments, and monitor statistical validity while maintaining full ownership of their data.

ExpLab includes support for:

• Experiment configuration and traffic allocation
• SQL-based metric definitions
• Statistical significance testing
• Sample Ratio Mismatch (SRM) detection
• Guardrail metrics and reusable experiment configurations
• Docker-based deployment

The rise of warehouse-native tooling has transformed analytics infrastructure over the past several years, but experimentation platforms have often remained dependent on closed ecosystems and proprietary event pipelines. ExpLab aims to bridge that gap by providing a flexible experimentation layer designed for modern data teams already operating on centralized warehouse architectures.
