(FHN), a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to empowering Atlanta Public Schools students, proudly recognizes scholar Alexandra Tanner for her volunteer service at the 57th Annual AJC- Peachtree Road Race on July 4, 2026 — a milestone Independence Day marking the U.S. Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

Alexandra, a rising honor roll senior at Frederick Douglass High School (FDHS), is a leading scholar in FHN's pilot Academic Literacy, Leadership, and STEM program. Known for her academic excellence and community-minded spirit, she volunteered along the race route to support runners, embodying the civic engagement and servant leadership that FHN instills in its scholars.
