Secretary Shevaun Harris delivered keynote address at the single-day event
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - s4story -- Florida PACE Providers Association (FPPA) hosted its inaugural, in-person conference on Tuesday, June 17, welcoming more than 100 guests dedicated to ensuring that every senior in Florida has access to quality health care.
FPPA is a nonprofit, 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to unifying all PACE providers in Florida under a united purpose: to grow and advance the PACE model of care statewide. FPPA is committed to improving the overall health and quality of life of Florida's seniors while ensuring that they are safely receiving the care they need while living at home.
The event provided guests the opportunity to connect with Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) leadership, FPPA board members, and business executives, as well as gain key insights into the development and future of PACE programs in Florida.

The single-day conference held in Tampa, Florida, offered valuable networking opportunities and insight from PACE industry leaders, including Samira Beckwith, president and CEO of Hope Healthcare, Gwen Southard, business development manager of AnewHealth, and Matt Hudson, executive director of FPPA, who delivered opening remarks.
Featured keynote speaker Secretary Shevaun Harris was appointed by Governor DeSantis in 2025 to lead the Agency for Health Care Administration. Her leadership focuses on accountability, innovation and improving care for Florida's families. Prior to returning to the Agency in 2025, she served more than four years as the Secretary of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) where she established innovative programs and initiatives aimed at promoting self-sufficiency, prevention, and resiliency. Under her leadership, initiatives like the Coordinated Opioid Recovery Network (CORE), the Responsible Fatherhood Initiative and the Child Welfare Accountability System were launched and served as the catalyst for major systems change.
