FloridaDistilleries.com Launches as Florida's Most Complete Online Distillery Resource
S For Story/10687609
Tampa-area author and software developer Rodney Biddle brings Florida's craft spirits scene together in one mobile-friendly destination
TAMPA, Fla. - s4story -- TAMPA, FL — Florida author and technology professional Rodney Biddle has launched FloridaDistilleries.com, a comprehensive online directory and resource guide covering all 85 distillery locations across the Sunshine State — making it the most complete distillery resource of its kind in Florida.
The website features regional and county breakdowns of Florida distilleries, detailed profiles of each location, interactive maps, and curated listings of nearby distilleries and wineries — giving craft spirits enthusiasts a one-stop resource for planning visits anywhere in the state. The site is fully mobile-friendly and includes a regularly updated events calendar featuring wine and spirits festivals, with events submitted directly by wineries and distilleries themselves.

FloridaDistilleries.com grew out of Biddle's research for his recently published book of the same name, Florida Distilleries. The inspiration came during a January 2025 trip to St. Augustine, where Biddle and his then-girlfriend explored the city's local wineries and distilleries. "We had such a great time," Biddle said. "I wanted to write about these experiences and share those adventures with others."
Unlike a printed book, the website allows Biddle to update content in real time — sometimes while visiting distilleries in person — adding awards, new products, expanded photos, and details that simply couldn't fit on the page. To date, Biddle has personally visited more than 80% of the 85 featured locations and has committed to visiting every one of them before publishing a second edition of the book.
FloridaDistilleries.com is designed to serve as a cornerstone resource for Biddle's growing network of Florida-focused websites, which also includes FloridaWineryTrail.com and FloridaSpiritsWorld.com, all operated under his company Rodney Biddle LLC and the Florida Spirit News umbrella.

Biddle, a lifelong Floridian based in the Tampa area, has been building websites and working in the technology industry for over 25 years. Florida Drinkeries (https://floridadrinkeries.com/about-our-author-publisher/) He has authored over a dozen books Biddle Books (https://biddlebooks.com/floridabubble/youtube-videos/), previously focused on Ham Radio and emergency power planning topics before turning his attention to Florida's wine and spirits culture — what he calls his "Hemingway years" as an empty nester exploring new writing territory.
