Author Michael Harlow Gives Away Blue Planet – Red Tide June 15–17 to Inspire Ocean Awareness
SAN DIEGO - s4story -- In recognition of World Ocean Month and growing national attention on ocean conservation, author Michael Harlow is offering his Kindle novel, Blue Planet – Red Tide, free to readers worldwide from June 15–17, 2026.
The promotion comes as organizations, governments, and environmental leaders highlight the importance of protecting marine ecosystems during June's World Ocean Month. Recent reports from the United Nations and other global organizations have called for increased collaboration to address mounting pressures on the world's oceans, including pollution, ecosystem decline, and climate-related impacts.
Blue Planet – Red Tide is a fast-paced first-contact ocean eco-thriller that imagines what might happen if an ancient alien civilization hidden beneath Earth's oceans finally revealed itself—not to conquer humanity, but to stop humanity from destroying the planet they share.
The novel follows marine scientist Dr. Kayla Torres and ocean expert Dr. Trevor Steel as mysterious red tides spread across the globe, governments scramble for answers, and humanity learns it is not alone beneath the waves.
More on S For Story
"While Blue Planet – Red Tide is a work of fiction, many of the environmental challenges explored in the story are very real," said Harlow. "World Ocean Month is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the oceans while also recognizing the importance of protecting them for future generations."
Readers can download the Kindle edition free of charge from June 15–17, 2026.
