Like many recent books, this one began during the pandemic. With too much time, too many thoughts, and nowhere to go, Davis started posting short videos on social media. He had no grand plan, just observations about people. "I wanted to make people laugh with the kind of sarcastic thoughts you usually keep to yourself or text to a close friend," says Scott.

People started responding and sharing the posts. Somewhere along the way, these quick, throwaway lines became the thing Davis was known for, and followers kept asking when a book would be available. Today, the book launches on most online retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
