Halley Ashwood is rational and grounded - a doctor in the making - and the very opposite of her conspiracy-theorist brother, Flynn. The day before she is supposed to meet him in Amsterdam, Flynn leaves her a foreboding message asking her to promise him that she won't come. When she arrives in Amsterdam, Flynn is missing, and Halley is determined to find out what happened to him. Her search soon leads her to realize that her brother's conspiracies may not be as outlandish as they once seemed. Demons are very much real, and they may just know the answer as to what happened to her brother.

Jessa Graythorne is an Australian author who lives by the beach with her partner and their two cats. Aside from writing, her other great passion is traveling. Fireborn was inspired by her trip to Amsterdam.
