S For Story/10684577
ATLANTA - s4story -- GeorgiaForward has selected 50 promising young leaders to serve the organization's 2026 Young Gamechangers (YG) program. YG is a unique leadership action program hosted by GeorgiaForward, a non-profit organization administered by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). Young Gamechangers brings professionals from across the state to work on the persistent challenges of one Georgia community.
In 2026, the city of Hinesville and Liberty County will host the Young Gamechangers. Local leaders have finalized their four "Challenge Questions" that the 2026 cohort will be charged to answer during the eight months they will spend focused on the community, developing specific, actionable recommendations for the community.
"Each Young Gamechangers cohort represents the future of leadership in Georgia. This newest class brings together talented, passionate professionals who are committed to strengthening communities across our state. We are excited to see how their collaboration, creativity, and dedication will support meaningful solutions for the host community and serve as a model for community innovation statewide," said GeorgiaForward Board Chair Amir Farokhi.
