Grace Montessori School Raises $115,000 for Student Scholarships and Enhanced Programming

The annual Legacy of Learning fundraiser supports Montessori education accessible to all.
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - s4story -- On Thursday, May 14, Grace Montessori School raised $115,000 at its annual Legacy of Learning benefit fundraiser, supporting student scholarships and enhanced programming to enrich the educational experience of all students.
"Every year, I am amazed by the generosity of our community," said Radhika Hoshing, director of Grace Montessori School and event committee member. "Through this fundraiser, we are able to support even more students and help relieve the economic barriers that can prevent families from accessing Montessori education."
Held at the Americus Hotel, Legacy of Learning also celebrated community members who have supported the school, including Dianne Pagano Manges and Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk and his wife, Karen.
In its fourth year, Legacy of Learning is a benefit for community members, alumni, families, and teachers to celebrate the nonprofit school and its impact on families in Allentown and beyond.

Serving children ages 15 months to 12 years, Grace Montessori School offers an education grounded in self-directed activity, hands-on experiential learning and collaborative play. Students work in groups and individually, and the curriculum is designed to teach children independence. Funds raised at the Legacy of Learning benefit support the Montessori experience and programs such as STEAM, Yoga, and Art classes.
This year's sponsors included:
"We are incredibly grateful to every sponsor, donor and attendee who made this year's Legacy of Learning such a success," said Libby House, Grace Montessori School board treasurer, diocesan secretary, and event committee chair. "This special evening brings together families, alumni, educators and community members who share a belief in our mission. They are committed to improving the lives of families in our community and helping to make Montessori education possible for more children."
