S For Story/10692545
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - s4story -- On Monday, May 11, 2026, HOPE Sheds Light welcomed more than 140 golfers, supporters, sponsors, and community members to a sold-out 6th Annual Golf Outing at Hominy Hill Golf Course. Despite cloudy skies, participants enjoyed a memorable day filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and support for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder.
The outing began at 7:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast before golfers took to the course for a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start in scramble format. Throughout the day, participants competed in a variety of activities and contests, including a putting contest, longest drive contest, closest-to-the-pin contest, and two exciting $10,000 hole-in-one opportunities. Following play, guests gathered for lunch and awards.
This year's successful event was made possible through the generous support of title sponsors Woodhaven Lumber & Millwork and The Earle Family Foundation, along with the many sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees who continue to stand behind HOPE Sheds Light's mission.
