Illegal Dumping Leaves Lehigh Acres Property Owner Facing Fines — Local Company Steps In To Help
S For Story/10687841
Out-of-state elderly Lehigh Acres property owner avoids daily fines after a dumped vehicle and boat are removed and Code Enforcement violation is cleared by Florida Junk Removal & Hauling LLC
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - s4story -- An out-of-state property owner facing mounting code enforcement fines in Lehigh Acres was able to resolve the situation after a local junk removal company stepped in and handled the entire cleanup effort — including tasks beyond their scope of work.
The issue began when someone illegally dumped a junk boat and a stripped vehicle onto a vacant lot. The property owner, an elderly woman living in Minnesota, began receiving violation notices and faced the possibility of daily fines if the property was not cleared.
Florida Junk Removal & Hauling LLC was initially contacted to remove the boat. Upon arrival, it became clear the situation was more complex — and the owner had no one locally to manage it.

Rather than limiting the job to the original request, owner Mark Cass took the initiative to coordinate the entire cleanup process.
He contacted law enforcement to report the illegally dumped vehicle and requested a VIN check to ensure it was clear and eligible for removal. Once cleared, he coordinated with a local towing company and worked directly with the owner to secure proper authorization.
With the vehicle removed, Florida Junk Removal & Hauling LLC returned to complete the remaining cleanup, removing the junk boat and debris and hauling it to the landfill.
By coordinating all parties and overseeing the project from start to finish, the company was able to resolve the code violation without the property owner needing to travel back to Florida.
In a review following the job, the customer shared:
"Mark was so wonderfully helpful… My elderly mom started receiving violation letters because people dumped a boat and other items on her lot… Mark not only got the lot cleared but sent updates and pictures. He was a blessing during this stressful time… couldn't have handled it better or more quickly."
