U.S. immigration law firm offers rapid Zoom consultations, weekend availability, and immediate legal guidance for Somali refugees under increased federal scrutiny, especially ICE.

Federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), recently confirmed the rollout of Operation PARRIS (Post-Admission Refugee Reverification and Integrity Strengthening) in Minnesota. The program involves enhanced background screenings, renewed interviews, and in-depth reviews of refugee cases, with matters flagged for potential fraud or other concerns being referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Authorities have indicated that the effort is initially centered on approximately 5,600 Minnesota refugees who have not yet obtained lawful permanent resident (green card) status.
