FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - s4story -- The Frankenmuth Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival is back in action on May 14 with a delicious combination of family-friendly entertainment and a diverse lineup of food trucks across Michigan.
The food truck festival is from 2 to 9 PM on Thursday, May 14, at Frankenmuth River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. in Michigan's Little Bavaria. Festival admission and parking are free. The remaining 2026 dates are June 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10.
Each food truck festival will showcase special activities and entertainment. This month, Frankenmuth River Place Shops will be kicking off with a Camp Chowdown theme. Each date will also feature a variety of food and beverages, including 16-20 food trucks from across Michigan and a beer tent with a handcrafted cocktail special. There will be plenty of shaded seating and activities for families, such as face painting, inflatables, mini games, free cake (while supplies last), and vendors. The event is pet-friendly; animals must be on a max. 6-foot leash at all times.
