Josh Stout "The Western Project"
S For Story/10685601
TULSA, Okla. - s4story -- Josh Stout brings The Western Project to the 2026 NatureWorks Art Show, March 7–8 at the Marriott Tulsa Hotel – Southern Hills.
This body of work is built from land, weather, and time. Each painting carries the weight of a West that never asked permission—slowly made, deliberately composed, and designed to endure.
The Western Project moves with a quiet authority. Hunting camps, worn timber, and unbroken landscapes run through the work, giving each canvas the feel of lived experience and hard-earned observation. These are pieces that resist trend and flash. They hold tension, patience, and presence—the kind of work that stands on its own, demanding attention without explanation.
More on S For Story
The collection captures the pull of open country, the stark reality of survival, and the subtle law of the land itself. Every line, shadow, and texture carries intent; each knifestroke is a record of discipline, observation, and respect for the world it depicts. The Western Project is not polite. It is built to last, meant to be seen, felt, and remembered for all time.
NatureWorks 2026 convenes 31 of America's leading wildlife artists, and Stout's pieces arrive with their own gravity— hard, grounded, and unmistakable.
Show Hours
Saturday, 12 PM to 9 PM
Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM
