EVERETT, Wash. - s4story -- We are proud to announce that Dan Kocer, President and Managing Director of Kocer Consulting & Engineering, has been named the 2026 Chair Award recipient by the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA). The award, presented as PNAA marks 25 years of supporting the growth and global competitiveness of the Pacific Northwest aerospace cluster, recognizes individuals whose impact extends beyond their own organization to strengthen the industry as a whole.

For more than two decades, Dan has built Kocer Consulting & Engineering around a simple idea: manufacturers deserve a partner who listens first, then helps them realign their operations, systems, and people for long-term success. Since founding the company in the aftermath of September 11 — a moment when the economy had all but frozen — Dan has guided the firm to work with more than 400 companies on capacity expansion, quality improvement, cost reduction, workforce development, information systems, supply chain, facility planning, customer service, and interim management.

"This recognition belongs to our whole team," said Dan Kocer. "Everything we've built here comes down to hiring people who care about doing right by our customers, giving them the trust and autonomy to do great work, and celebrating what they accomplish. I'm proud to accept this award on behalf of everyone at Kocer Consulting & Engineering."

That team-first approach has shaped the company's culture from day one. Dan's early practice of offering prospective clients a free initial review — and asking for payment only if they found real value in it — set a standard the company still holds itself to: listen carefully, focus on what matters most to the customer, and deliver results. It's a philosophy the entire Kocer team carries into every engagement, and one that has built the company's reputation on referrals and long-term client relationships.

Kocer Consulting & Engineering congratulates Dan on this well-earned honor and thanks PNAA for its continued work supporting the manufacturers who keep the Pacific Northwest aerospace supply chain strong.
