TAMPA, Fla. - s4story -- MetroLagoons is inviting guests to kick off summer with its lineup of Memorial Day weekend festivities across its four lagoons.

From May 22-25, activities will take place across the greater Tampa and Southwest Florida regions, offering something for guests of all ages. The weekend features a mix of live entertainment, interactive activities, themed parties and community events, including karaoke, foam parties, outdoor movie screenings, and Memorial Day-themed morning market and craft activities.

Featured activities include:

• Epperson Lagoon, located at 31885 Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel

o   May 22: Finish the Line (7 p.m.)

o   May 23: Day of Play: arcade trucks and sports inflatables (noon to 4 p.m.)

o   May 24: Memorial Day Morning Market (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

o   May 25: Live DJ (noon to 4 p.m.)

• Mirada Lagoon, located at 31461 Mirada Blvd. in San Antonio

o   May 22: Karaoke (7 p.m.)

o   May 23: Day of Play: arcade trucks and sports inflatables (1 to 5 p.m.)

o   May 24: Water Wars (2 to 5 p.m.)

o   May 25: Glimmer tattoo party and "The Parent Trap" screening (2 to 4 p.m.)

• Southshore Bay Lagoon, located at 16881 Lagoon Shore Blvd. in Wimauma

o   May 22: Cigar Night (7 p.m.)

o   May 23: Paper Poppy Craft (2 to 5 p.m.) and Line Dancing (7 to 9 p.m.)

o   May 24: Block Party (noon to 5 p.m.) and Paper Poppy Craft (4 to 6 p.m.)

o   May 25: Paper Poppy Craft (noon to 2 p.m.) and Foam Party (noon to 4 p.m.)

In addition to the weekend festivities, guests can also enjoy MetroLagoons' signature attractions, including acres of clear blue water surrounded by sandy beaches and lounge chairs, a resort-style swim-up bar, food trucks, floating obstacle courses, paddleboard and kayak rentals and more.

Both Brightwater Lagoon and Epperson Lagoon have recently debuted brand-new obstacle courses, featuring jumping spots over 12 feet tall, new slides, monkey bars and more.
