LANCASTER, Pa. - s4story -- GRAMMY® nominee Arlen Roth is somewhat of a Renaissance Man - a teacher, an author, and a musician.

Arlen, the "Master of the Telecaster", began his music career at the tender age of nine, learning to play by ear.  In 1970, his band performed at the 1st Annual Woodstock Reunion Concert, and soon after he moved to the town of Woodstock and jump started his career.  Since those early days, he has traveled the world, performing with countless acts such as Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, John Prine, and The Bee Gees just to name a few.

Releasing numerous albums over many years, Arlen's first album, Guitarist, won the Montreaux Critics Award for Best Instrumental Album of 1978.  His twelfth album, All Tricked Out!, garnered four GRAMMY® nominations.  Other albums, including Slide Guitar Summit and Telemasters feature a who's who of iconic special guests such as Johnny Winter, Rick Vito, Vince Gill, and Steve Cropper.

"I have so much respect and admiration for Arlen, and I'm proud he's chosen us to be on his team," says label manager Debra Clark.  "We're fortunate to be working with someone of his caliber, and this special album is going to be an outstanding addition!"

"Blues Grass was really a labor of love because of my feelings for the Blues and also for Bluegrass & Country. I wanted to meld these genres together," says Roth. My Rank & File Band assembled for this project were wonderful to play with and sure are the real thing. I hope this album shows foks another part of my musical vocabulary and that they enjoy this blending of styles and genres!"
