This Beloved Annual Festival Returns for A Sweet Weekend of Family Fun
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - s4story -- The 12th annual Mount Dora Blueberry Festival is back for a weekend of family fun, blueberry treats, and local talent! Taking place April 25–26 at Donnelly Park, the festival celebrates Lake County's blueberry harvest and rich agricultural heritage.
Despite early-year freezes, farms are open with sweet, ripe blueberries ready to pick. Visitors can enjoy blueberry pancakes, pies and goodies made by Umatilla High School's culinary class, jams, beverages, and fresh berries sold direct from local farms. Artisanal and craft vendors will also showcase baked goods, art, sauces, flowers, and blueberry bushes.

Special guests include Lydia Bock-Holt, Miss Florida Blueberry Teen, and Jocelyn Torres, Miss Florida Blueberry. The Pie Eating Contest returns Saturday at 2 p.m.—registration is free at the INFO booth.
