New Abstract Fine Art Photograph "The Violet Path" Released by Antonina Minova
S For Story/10690340
New work explores woodland, light, and movement through Intentional Camera Movement photography.
LONDON - s4story -- London, UK — Antonina Minova, an independent fine art photographer, has released "The Violet Path," a new limited edition abstract photograph presented as a signed and numbered fine art print. The work continues her exploration of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), using controlled motion and colour to transform a woodland scene into an atmospheric, painterly composition.
Set within a forest setting, "The Violet Path" reinterprets trees and light as a rhythmic passage of dark vertical forms and luminous violet tones. Rather than describing the landscape in literal detail, the piece focuses on mood, structure, and the emotional resonance of place. A central path of light draws the eye inward, suggesting a quiet movement through shadow toward illumination.

The photograph was created using ICM, a technique in which the camera is moved during exposure to reshape the visible scene. In this work, the vertical movement preserves the grounding presence of the tree trunks while allowing the upper forms and light to dissolve into soft streaks. Dominant purple and magenta tones contribute to the sense of mystery and stillness, while subtle grain adds depth and a surface texture associated with painting as much as photography.
Through the balance of dark structure and radiant colour, the work creates a sense of both stability and transformation. The woodland becomes less a fixed location and more an emotional space, where nature, memory, and abstraction meet. The composition guides the viewer forward through repetition, light, and tonal contrast, giving the work a contemplative and immersive character.
"The Violet Path" is available as a limited edition print on premium fine art paper. Each print is signed and numbered as part of a controlled edition. Free delivery is included.
