"The Wren and the Dream Maker" Encourages Young Readers to Use Their Voice And Stand Up For Others Amid Challenging Circumstances

CHICAGO - s4story -- Today, Inspirebytes Omni Media announces the release of a new chapter book, The Wren and the Dream Maker, written by Chicago-area children's playwright and songwriter Melissa MacTaggart. After repeatedly experiencing the same dream, Tremble the little wren knows he must act. Surrounded by years of silence—imposed by the Crow Council and Magpie Patrol—Tremble and his friends decide to seek out the Dream Maker to help them restore song to the songless wood. Together, they go on an adventure filled with other woodland creatures, both friend and foe, and journey into an unknown world in order to bring back joy to theirs.

For kids of all ages, the world can seem scary, especially when things feel outside of their control. The medium of fiction can help them learn how their unique voice still has a place, and how it can be even more impactful with the support of their friends. Drawing on common themes of overcoming challenges and perseverance, The Wren and the Dream Maker teaches the value of courage and speaking up for what you believe in.

As MacTaggart says, "I am very excited to share Tremble's story with the world, as it's one I think we can all relate to, old or young. It's about dreaming and believing in something so much that you follow your heart and make it happen."

The Wren and the Dream Maker is available now in English for US$13.95.
