NEW CHILDREN'S BOOK RELEASE: "Mommy, Where Is My Daddy?" by Tracy L. Gray
S For Story/10664029
Tracy crafted a children's book that delves into a poignant reality many families quietly navigate: "Mommy, Where Is My Daddy?" This heartfelt story, inspired by her daughter SeQuoya Leigh, is for every child who's asked the tough questions—and every adult searching for the right words. It's tender, truthful, and designed to help caregivers, educators, and parents initiate conversations about love, loss, and belonging.
DETROIT - s4story -- About Mommy, Where Is My Daddy?
After years of working in education and raising children who filled Ms. Gray's world with wonder and big questions, she gently guides her daughter, SeQuoya Leigh, through a world of imagination, honesty, and love when SeQuoya begins asking heartfelt questions about her father. With warmth and whimsy, SeQuoya tries to understand her father's absence, imagining him feeding squirrels, collecting tree sap, or melting snow with sunshine. As she explores her feelings, surrounded by family and community, SeQuoya learns that love can transcend distance and time.
This tender and beautifully illustrated story serves as a gentle conversation-starter for children navigating parental absence, wrapped in hope, laughter, and deep familial love. It includes an inspiring real-life epilogue about reunion, healing, and the unbreakable bond between father and daughter.
