"Seattle, Where the Waters Sing" Captures the Beauty, History, and Heart of the Emerald City
SEATTLE - s4story -- LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Byways & Highways Music Label has released its newest original travel-inspired song, "Seattle, Where the Waters Sing," a musical tribute to one of America's most iconic waterfront cities.
Inspired by the waters, mountains, neighborhoods, and cultural landmarks that define Seattle, the song celebrates the city's unique relationship with Puget Sound, Elliott Bay, Lake Washington, and Lake Union, while paying homage to the places and experiences that have made Seattle a beloved destination for travelers from around the world. Seattle's geography is famously shaped by the waters of Puget Sound and Lake Washington, with Mount Rainier rising dramatically on the horizon beyond the city skyline.
The song's imagery evokes the sights and sounds of ferries crossing Elliott Bay, sailboats gliding across the water, morning coffee overlooking the Sound, and the enduring presence of Mount Rainier watching over the city. It also reflects the character of Seattle's historic Pioneer Square district, Pike Place Market, and the Space Needle—landmarks that continue to define the city's identity for visitors and residents alike.
