Pathways to Opportunity Hosts 2nd Annual Strides for Inclusion 5K at Babcock Ranch

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - s4story -- Pathways to Opportunity (PTO) is proud to host the second annual Strides for Inclusion 5K, an event dedicated to promoting accessibility, empowerment, and community inclusion for individuals with disabilities. The run, walk, or roll event will take place at Babcock Ranch on Saturday May 16, 2026 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Proceeds from Strides for Inclusion will directly benefit PTO, a life-enhancing program that provides adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the skills, resources, and confidence to lead independent and fulfilling lives. PTO offers a wide range of engaging and educational activities, including life skills training, social development, and wellness programs, all designed to promote independence and inclusion in the community.
"At Pathways to Opportunity, we believe that every individual deserves the chance to reach their full potential," said Jessica Tursi, Director of Disability Services & Navigation. "Strides for Inclusion is more than just a race - it's an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate abilities, and support programs that create real, lasting change."
