Paul Stretton-Stephens Unveils Tide

A New Fine Art Photograph Celebrating the Restorative Power of the Coast
EXMOUTH, U.K. - s4story -- Exmouth, Devon, UK – Award-winning Artistic Coastal Photographer Paul Stretton-Stephens is delighted to announce the release of Tide, a new fine art original photograph that distils the coast into an elegant expression of movement, light and tranquillity.
Created entirely in-camera using Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), Tide moves beyond traditional landscape photography to capture the feeling of the shoreline rather than its precise detail. Flowing bands of turquoise, sea blue and warm sand merge into a minimalist composition that invites the viewer to slow down, reflect and reconnect with the calming rhythm of the sea.
"With Tide, I wanted to create more than a photograph," says Stretton-Stephens. "I wanted to preserve the emotional experience of standing by the water—the sense of space, the gentle movement, and the quiet peace that only the coast seems to offer."

Unlike digitally manipulated artwork, Tide was crafted almost entirely in-camera, with the creative process taking place at the moment of capture. Through carefully controlled camera movement, the familiar landscape is transformed into a timeless, painterly interpretation that celebrates atmosphere over detail.
Ideal for contemporary homes, boutique hotels, spas, wellness spaces and sophisticated interiors, Tide brings a sense of serenity and understated elegance to any environment. Its harmonious palette and flowing forms make it a natural focal point for spaces where calm and contemplation are valued.
Tide is available as a museum-quality fine art print on ChromaLuxe aluminium, which is ensures exceptional longevity and colour fidelity. This original ( 1 of 1) artwork is individually signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Paul Stretton-Stephens' Artistic Coastal Photography is inspired by the ever-changing beauty of Britain's coastline, exploring the interplay of light, movement and atmosphere. His work seeks to evoke not simply what the coast looks like, but how it feels—creating images that encourage stillness, reflection and emotional connection.
