HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - s4story -- NORTH AL – I'll be perfectly honest. We set out to create a ridiculous joke to make our community smile, but the joke ended up entirely on us.
We dreamed up a drink to honor one of our staff's favorite snacks and ended up with The Big Dill Latte. It's a savory-sweet iced latte mixing the salty, briny snap of a real dill pickle with our signature smooth vanilla, all finished off with a thick, rich "peanut butter cloud"—our plant-based cold foam that adds an unbelievably creamy texture.
I know exactly what you are thinking. It sounds completely wild. But if that exact flavor combo of pickles and peanut butter was good enough for the King of Rock 'n' Roll, we figured we had to at least try it in the test kitchen. We honestly thought it would be a funny, one-day gag for social media.
Here is the real twist: it is a 100% real drink, available for one day only, and it is shockingly good. Before announcing it, we handed the Big Dill to a preview group of two dozen of our most loyal, regular customers. They wanted to hate it. They actively tried to hate it. But the craziest thing happened—they couldn't. We didn't get a single negative response! It turns out, that specific balance of salty, sweet, and creamy actually works beautifully.
