Young family brings fresh energy, culinary talent, and a nod to tradition on the lake
LOVELL, Maine - s4story -- A beloved lakeside destination on Kezar Lake in Lovell, Maine is entering a new chapter as Pleasant Point Inn, now welcoming guests under new ownership, restoring its original name and renewing its connection to the local community.
The 12-room inn is now owned and operated by a young couple from the area, Nick Kane and Bailey Damon, who, along with their two children, bring a family-centered approach and a deep appreciation for the property's history. By returning to the name Pleasant Point Inn, the new owners aim to honor the inn's legacy while creating a welcoming space for both longtime visitors and new guests.
At the heart of the inn's revival is its culinary program, led by Nick Kane, an experienced chef, formerly of Severance Lodge and the Oxford House. Known for his standout dishes—including Nick's Deviled Eggs and his signature blueberry bread—he brings a focus on approachable, high-quality food that reflects the region's flavors and traditions. Bailey Damon previously worked at Severance Lodge as the Dining Room Manager, with a degree in Business Management from Suffolk University.
