S For Story/10699815
FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- The University of South Florida Alumni Association has honored Priority Marketing and its founder, Teri Hansen, APR, as one of the world's 56 fastest-growing companies owned or led by USF alumni.
The is the fifth time that Priority Marketing has been honored with a Fast 56 Award, which celebrates Bull-led businesses based on cumulative revenue growth over the previous three years.
Hansen is a 1984 graduate of USF, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and management, as well as a minor in criminal justice. After graduating magna cum laude, Hansen started her career in corporate roles before founding Priority Marketing in 1992 as a one-person, home-based operation that primarily provided public relations services. Today, the company is among Florida's largest marketing firms with over 65 employees and offers a full suite of professional services, including public relations, brand development, web services, social media, creative services, media buying, video production, digital marketing and event planning. Priority Marketing, which operates offices in Fort Myers and Naples, has approximately 400 active for-profit and nonprofit clients across dozens of industries.

"Some of the values that USF champions, like fostering a sense of community, supporting intellectual growth and encouraging service, are the same principles that have fueled our team's success," said Hansen, who serves as Priority Marketing's president and chief creative officer. "Fast 56 is a who's who list of notable graduates, and it's gratifying to be honored for the fifth time given that there are so many successful businesses worldwide owned or managed by USF alumni."
Priority Marketing and Hansen are the only Fast 56 honorees representing Southwest Florida this year. The firm is among 12 honorees being recognized this year for achieving Fast 56 status at least five times.
The USF Alumni Association will recognize honorees at a celebration on Sept. 24 in Tampa.
In addition to Hansen, the firm employs four other USF graduates: Holly Boldrin, senior director of public relations; Julia Babair, assistant director of client services; Grace Hutchcraft, social media manager; and Sarah Vosburgh, marketing project coordinator.
