RCMA Names Kathalin Carvalho as Director of Development

MULBERRY, Fla. - s4story -- RCMA is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathalin Carvalho as its new Director of Development. In this role, Carvalho will lead the organization's fundraising efforts, strengthen relationships with donors and community partners, and help secure resources that support RCMA's mission of providing quality education and care for children and families across Florida.
As Director of Development, Carvalho will oversee fundraising strategies, donor engagement, grant development, special events, and philanthropic partnerships. Her work will play a key role in helping RCMA continue to expand opportunities for children from low-income, farmworker, and rural families.
RCMA serves thousands of children and families each year through its network of child development centers and charter schools. As the organization continues to grow, the Director of Development position will be critical in building the financial support needed to sustain and expand its programs.

Carvalho brings extensive experience in leadership, community engagement, and nonprofit service. Throughout her career, she has worked with organizations in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, helping build partnerships and create opportunities that benefit communities. She is also an educator and active volunteer who is deeply committed to helping others succeed.
"I am honored to join RCMA and support an organization that has been changing lives for more than 60 years," said Carvalho. "I look forward to working with donors, partners, and community leaders who share RCMA's commitment to helping children and families build brighter futures."

Carvalho holds a law degree from Universidad del Zulia, a Master's Degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida, and a Master's Degree in International Law and Business from Stetson University College of Law. In 2024, she was named Philanthropist of the Year by Tampa Bay Business and Wealth Magazine.
For more than 60 years, RCMA has worked to strengthen children, families, and communities across Florida through quality child care and education. Today, RCMA serves thousands of children in more than 50 centers and charter schools throughout the state.
