Reagan Keeter's Misery Rock Tests What One Woman Will Do to Keep Herself and Her Daughter Safe
S For Story/10438821
MARIETTA, Ga. - s4story -- "Misery Rock," an action-packed and suspenseful domestic thriller, by Reagan Keeter is hitting shelves October 30 — just in time for the spooky season.
"This book turns the idea of the serial killer as a lone wolf on its head," Keeter said, "and imagines a world where, through the power of the Internet, like-minded individuals bent on killing might come together to work as a group."
Loving suburban mother and psychologist, Sharron Freeman's discovery that her husband, Ben, is part of a group of killers, shatters her world. With nowhere to go and desperate to keep herself and her daughter safe, Sharon sets out to discover who else is involved and find evidence against them by going undercover as part of the group. Her journey will bring her into the nefarious world of the dark web and put her life in danger more than once. It will require her to draw on courage she didn't know she had and come face to face with enemies she didn't know existed. And in the end, it all might prove to be in vain.
Set in the North Georgia mountains, "Misery Rock" is all at once atmospheric and fast-paced. Tension builds as Keeter weaves a world where a mother will do anything to protect her daughter, but not everyone is who they seem and even home isn't safe anymore. Adult suspense readers, fans of Harlen Coben, "Gone Girl" and "The Girl on the Train" alike will be blown away by the story, the action, and it's epic conclusion.
