Why RecoveryBridge Exists

According to SAMHSA, more than 20 million Americans are living in recovery from substance use disorders. While treatment centers, 12-step programs, and clinical resources provide critical structure, they aren't always available in the moments that matter most.

RecoveryBridge fills a gap Jackson calls "the quiet hours" — the stretches between meetings, the late nights, the moments when calling a sponsor feels like too much but sitting alone feels dangerous.

Burk Jackson got sober on October 20, 1994, at age 23. He has been featured as the Addiction Recovery eBulletin's "Person of the Week," authored "What 31 Years Sober Taught Me About Long-Term Recovery" for rtor.org, and appeared on podcasts including It's Bizzy (Episode 624) and The Way Out Podcast.
