Three-week exchange with Rotary District 2670 gives students leadership growth, cultural enrichment, global friendship, and life-changing international experiences.
NEWARK, N.J. - s4story -- Rotary District 7475 students and chaperones have arrived safely in Japan, beginning a three-week international experience through the District's 48-year Youth Exchange partnership with Rotary District 2670 in Shikoku, Japan.
The group departed Newark Airport for Tokyo on July 1, 2026. After a 13-hour flight, students and counselors landed in Tokyo and traveled to their first night's hotel near Osaka, where they began preparing for three weeks of fellowship, cultural learning, leadership development, and friendship with fellow Rotarians in District 2670.
Rotary Youth Exchange gives students more than a passport stamp. It gives them a wider view of the world. Through this program, students experience new cultures, build confidence, strengthen communication skills, develop independence, and learn what it means to lead with curiosity, respect, and service.
